Science and Technology Videos
Our universe is filled with mysteries. As our technology improves, we’re able to reach farther out into the cosmos and observe objects that are more distant…and more ancient…than ever before. What we may find could help explain the origins of the universe itself. One project, called the Square Kilometer Array Observatory, plans on throwing these observations into overdrive. This massive collaboration between fourteen countries spread out over a remarkable 3,000 kilometers will collect radio wave information that has the potential to map the entire structure of the universe – and help us understand things like why it’s expanding, how galaxies first formed, and whether or not there is alien life or any habitable planets out there.
