Nicki Minaj gets sued by Tracy Chapman! | Is Atlantic Records to blame?

Nicki Minaj is currently facing some legal trouble after sampling the folk singer, Tracy Chapman’s song “Baby Can I Hold You.” Nicki had song with Nas called “Sorry”, which was reserved for her album Queen. Tracy rejected Nicki’s request to use the song so it ended up being tossed off her album. Nicki’s team allegedly leaked the song to DJ Funk Master Flex, and Tracy is suing her for releasing her music without her consent.
